Ouchie! Poor guy! That cast is HUGE - how come it's so long?

Deb - I know! Isn't it hilariously large for a pinky injury? They have to make it that long to support his radius & ulna bones. If the cast were shorter and he fell on his arm, the cast could actually cause the long bones to break. Interesting! There's a little science/physics lesson for ya.

My nephew broke his wrist last year and it healed up really quickly. Sending huge hugs.
